Thinking of all who loved Gayle and are feeling her loss so deeply. Though I didn’t know her personally, I feel as though I came to know her through the heartfelt conversations with my mum and through Aunty Margie’s beautiful stories. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there today, but my mum will be there to pay respects on our behalf. It’s clear Gayle was a woman of deep strength, warmth, and spirit.
